Magic and flutes
When students perform Mozart's "Magic Flute" in an unfamiliar place, the performance itself becomes the task. Voices hang in the room like questions, gestures trace paths where walls would otherwise be. A light, a glance, a breath are enough, and out of nothingness emerges a forest or a temple. The music carries the story, the bodies tell it further. The result is an evening that claims nothing and allows everything: play, seriousness, humor. Magic is not revealed in splendor, but in the courage to sing.
