The "Akademie für Musiktheater heute" (AMH) is a Deutsche Bank Foundation funding program for young up-and-coming musical theater talent. 15 scholarships are awarded annually in the areas of stage and costume design, conducting, dramaturgy, composition, cultural management, libretto/text as well as directing. The two-year funding program includes regular workshops, visits to selected productions at European opera houses and festivals, and the joint development of a musical theater piece at the end of the scholarship. Since 2019, the AMH has been working with the Ensemble Modern and the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts.
