¿Quién es el verdadero Huaquero?
Amelia Uzategui Bonilla & Daniela Zambrano Almidón
Implantieren Festival

In the context of provenance research and the history of German colonial collectors from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Daniela Zambrano Almidón and Amelia Uzategui Bonilla approach the topic of restitution from their perspective, as part of a diaspora of Quechua descendants living in Europe today.
With the aim of supporting the development of Andean identities and anti-colonial knowledge in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main region, the learning circles, which deal with racism as part of the colonial project, with cultural appropriation, are organizing the exhibition of the bodies of their ancestors in German museums and the rights of indigenous people in the diaspora. They share films and cultural practices and initiate discourse.
In relation to music from the Andes, archive material and cultural dances, they will develop an audiovisual installation and a dance performance. Audio description and translations are intended to enable access for German, English and Spanish speakers as well as for blind and visually impaired audiences.
