Frankfurt Moves!
Artist Residency
Invitation workshop presentation:
Since July 26, four residency groups with 8 artists from Brazil, Argentina, Lebanon and South Africa have been working intensively in the halls of Frankfurt LAB as part of "Frankfurt Moves!". Their artistic backgrounds range from visual arts, theatre and performance to circus.
In their research, they deal with vulnerability and violence, but also with practices of resilience. They devote themselves to the diversity of bodies and the temporality they harbour. Their works are characterized by the search for possibilities of resistance and enchantment.
We would like to cordially invite you to the workshop presentation, which will provide insights into their four-week residencies with 30-minute showings by each performance group. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to talk to the residents over a shared meal. Admission is free. We kindly ask you to register at info@frankfurt-lab.de
