Fashioning the Orchestra
part of FREISPIEL 2024: Shifting Futures
Junge Deutsche Philharmonie
FASHIONING THE ORCHESTRA invites you to a musical journey from the Baroque to the present time, coupled with a fashion performance. To complement the musical transformation, the orchestra transforms its outward appearance and plays with fashion-elements created from recycled materials by the young fashion designer Kaja Busch. FASHIONING THE ORCHESTRA questions our viewing and listening habits: How many breaks with tradition can audiences and musicians be expected to accept?
