Electrifying Sadness
Mikosch Loutsenko und partners-in-crime

In challenging and intensifying times, times of exacerbating climate change and mass
extinction, geopolitical wars and the rise of authoritarian regimes, emotions arise. On one
hand: overwhelm, disturbance and futility. On the other hand, this situation encourages
people to tackle change and embrace responsibility in social movements.
In Electrifying Sadness, through texts and sonic movements, we explore the connection
between hidden and shared sentiments of grief, disturbance and unrest. We ask ourselves
what kind of creative, political and transformative chance can arise from our emotions?

Sensory stimuli and content notes: strobe lighting.
