Lena Appel

Loosely based on David Cronenberg's 1970 film, the performance tells the dystopian story of Adrian Tripod, a dermatologist searching for answers in a world of disease, mutation, and social decay. He struggles to maintain control — in the clinic, in his body, and in a world where hypervisibility blurs witnessing and complicity. As the audience follows his descent, the piece reenacts this perversion, asking: What is evil in a society devoid of morals yet obsessed with obssession?
