Anatomy Exhibition
Nargess Behrouzian
Anatomy Exhibition is a work in progress/ongoing performance based on the long term practice of daily drawing. It focuses on the way the body remembers images and it deals with several questions and the questioning of those questions.
Does the body have a memory?
How does the body perceive the surroundings as part of its own memories?
What does the body remember as a frame for structuring the memories collected in a diary?
What does the diary mean for the body?
What is the relationship between the image in the mind and the image on paper?
Does the body have an archive and how is the archive of the body structured?
What is the difference between writing a line, drawing a line and moving on a line?
